The Classical Liberalism Initiative is devoted to the study of classical liberal institutions and the interactions among individuals, corporations, markets, government, and civic institutions in a free society.
CLI will foster an open intellectual environment where all arguments and ideas are critically examined. It will be built on the classical liberal conviction that “we should not be afraid to follow truth wherever it may lead nor to tolerate error as long as reason is free to combat it.”
Upcoming Classical Liberalism Seminars
Classical Liberalism seminars are typically held bi-weekly and are open to faculty of different backgrounds and perspectives willing to debate ideas and policy issues with rigor, even when doing so may challenge orthodoxy.
